Pomeranian University in Slupsk is the state school of higher education with almost 50-year tradition.
Within several faculties, including Faculty of Management and Safety Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Philology and History, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Health Science, the University employs over 300 academic experts and provides education to over 4.000 students in 29 fields and ab. 100 specialization.
Faculty of Management and Safety Science conducts tertiary education in fields: administration, management, national security, sociology and socio-cybernetics.
The Faculty fulfils directly the mission of the University as it refers to co-creation and maintenance of regional identity and considering socio-economic development as key factor for national and international security and European heritage.
Faculty is oriented on implementing VET educational programms matched to the needs of the labour market and promotes project management as key training method of students’ vocational practical preparation.

The Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT is a highly respected non-governmental organisation in Poland. Established in 1835, it represents over 1 10,000 individual members across from 39 technical, scientific and engineering organisations throughout Poland. The Council of the West Pomeranian Region as a regional department of the NOT Association, represents the interests of Association members in the West Pomeranian Region, while being located in the most important city in the region, Szczecin.
NOT as a unit has developed a robust role with a very strong educational and research lobbying position within Poland. It acts as a hub, connecting universities with practitioners and government bodies inside the region and outside, thus providing opportunities for collaboration and long-life learning programmes. It is also the voice of the Polish scientific and engineering community on an international level. The NOT Association actively supports individual goals of its members and thus provides many opportunities for practical and soft skills development by organizing flexible training tailored to specific needs. The organization widely promotes the idea of business sustainable development, social responsibility, mental health in the workplace, ethics in business behaviours as well as cultural heritage and natural environment preservation.
